August, Week 3

On the left Kristi had again tried to transfer a quote to the page, but the slipage was so bad it was completely unlegible. So, she applied gesso around the edges with a palette knife to cover the transfer trouble. Then used the side of crayons that complimented the colors used in the Degas painting and hit the high points of the textured gesso. On the right side the journaling was overlaid with a faintly printed tissue that came with an order from J. Jill and then bits of crayon wrappers were collage on and ABC123 was also written with crayon. Kids in Fort Collins went back to school that week and Kristi was feeling the itch to go back to school shopping.
