May, Week 3

The third week of May marked the fifth anniversary of a traumatic experience for Kristi, so she used the calendar as a way of expressing the passage of time and the event. The background is black gesso, the light 5s in the background are simple pencil and the large 5 and the poem on the right are of white colored pencil.
