Coptic Stitch Pain Journal
The covers for this single needle coptic stitch journal are made from painted and collaged canvas boards.
This is a closer look at the cover. Some of the images were copyright free clip art of muscle diagrams. The stamped words use images from Ma Vinci's Reliquary and the stamped DaVinci's Proportions of a Man is from Stamp Cabana.
The inside of the covers were covered with a gold metallic finished decorative paper and the title page was computer generated from clip art and a decorative font.
Here is a sample of what the inner pages look like. Each double page spread contains the information for one week. There is a spot to take note of activities and pain levels and locations, as well as a small diagram to mark areas for quick summary and clarification of pain locations. On the right is room to have up to three practitioners note what treatments they have made and what they prescribe. In this case there is a spot for an acupuncturist, massage therapist and a chiropractor, but this can be customized. |
