This piece draws upon symbology of many cultures. To me it speaks of the passage towards spiritual enlightenment. We start as a bud with much potential. With mindfulness of mother earth and a patience with slow but steady pace we can learn, practice and master the 6 virtues of generosity, self-discipline, patience, determination, mindfulness and compassion and the 4 noble truths of kindness, pity, joy and equanimity. This study and practice will eventually lead full circle to spiritual enlightenment.
