Green Merino/Tussah Yarn

Green Ashland Bay Merino/Tussah 2-ply handspun yarn.

Date: 2005-09-28
Fiber Source:
Green Ashland Bay 70 Merino/30 Tussah Silk Blend from Shuttles, Spindles and Skeins
Weight: .5 oz
Length: ~ 23 yds
Ply: 2-Ply
Set Method: Wet Set & Dried with Weight
WPI: ??
Gauge: ?? (dk perhaps)

Notes: I bought only .5 oz of this in order to make another warmlet. Since I didn't use an guide for thickness I ended up with a thicker yarn than my previous hand at this blend. But, it should still be enough for a nice warmlet. I did spin and ply this one within a few hours of each other and was able to understand why they recommend waiting for 24 hours before plying as such active singles were a bit difficult to handle.
