Hmmm, Very interesting art Kristi.
I think that in the spinning/knitting community of blogs we try to encourage and uplift each other more than in any other community I have been a part of. There isn’t the competition that I have found in other arenas of life. While that may not translate as well to our everyday lives, I still think it is a boon to all of us to be a part of such a positive and fulfilling community.
You aren’t invisible to me, and I think you are an amazingly talented and gifted artist in all mediums.

I don’t think you’re invisible, either! But the artwork is a little sobering . . . we all feel that way once in a while, right?

The artwork is very interesting and thought provoking. It kind of startled me when I first saw it because I’ve had the song “Invisible” by Alison Moyet in my head for days now. That feeling of being invisible cuts both ways for me. I hate the idea of being invisible in as much as it signifies being unimportant and yet, I crave invisibility many times and feel really uncomfortable being the center of attention in any group.
You’re not invisible to me.

Oh dear. You are NOT invisible. I understand the feeling, but we are never unseen by the people that truly matter in our lives. At least that’s what I tell myself.

I can relate to these feelings a lot! Also, I must agree with one of your other commenters, that the fiber/knitting community seems much more welcoming and sharing than, say, the altered art “community”.
You are missed in some of your old haunts. (wink)
