April Showers Bring May Flowers…

Filed under: Photography — Kristi at 7:32 am on Tuesday, May 1, 2007

In which I distract you with pictures of pretty flowers…

We had a fair bit of rain showers last week which has caused out tulips under the maple out front to actually start to bud and open for May! This is the first time since our first spring that we have had flowers actually open. So, happy May Day and happy spring to you all!

Pretty! We finally had some rain last night, so maybe that will speed things up. Happy May Day to you, too!

How pretty those tulips are. I may need to plant some for next year. Your photography is great too. I really love the crispness of the flowers against the green.

Very pretty. What a great color for such a lovely day. The pink is inspiring. I would love to dye some roving that color pink with the green leaves. Fantastic!

Did you know that Cuban tradition believes that if it rains on May Day and you go out and get that rain on your face, you will have a “beautiful” year? Hope you got the rain on your face Kristi :)
