Blue - Father's Eyes
There are many, many layers to this vibrant art journal spread. Mediums used include absorbent ground, chalk pastels, liquid acrylics, watercolor crayons, and paint pens as well as drywall joint tape and an old plastic fork for texturing. This was done to reflect the many layers of meaning present in the text ("All she had ever wanted was to trade in her dull grey eyes for the bright blue of her father's."). |
