Sunset - Crazy Mountain Sunset
For the first full spread in Gabe Cyr's Sunset themed fabric book, I went "crazy." I used crazy quilting techniques learned from Crazy with Cotton to create an abstract scene of the mountain sunsets I see daily. It needed more definition so I did additional embroidery and added a button for the sun and some beads to try replicate the sparkle of the sun's rays on the layers of clouds.
