Amber's Travel Journal: An Envelope Book

This journal measures roughly 9.5 X 4.75 X 2.5 inches and contains 11 handmade envelopes nestled in a concertina fold to make an expanding travel journal. Fun fibers were used to create a tie to hold the book shut, even as its thickness grows with the addition of collected ephemera.

Here you can see the fun and colorful handmade business sized envelopes that make up the pages of this travel journal. Each envelope contains 6 pieces of paper in 2 different sizes that can be journaled on and then later added to a scrapbook once the trip is over. The business sized envelopes are also the perfect size to house travel brochures, airplane ticket stubs and other ephemera you can collect while traveling.

While this book was commissioned for a specific trip to Grenada, no title was added to the book, nor dates to the envelopes. This unique construction will allow this book's enevelopes to be restocked with paper and used for other future travels as well.
