Knitting Journal
60 pages of 8 quadrille paper is hand bound with 10 pockets for holding ball bands or loose notes, and a 12 page reference section to create this great one-of-a-kind knitting journal. The cover is adorned with a simple embossed sweater and the left edge is covered with hand-painted paper.
Here you can see that the journal as an exposed spine that uses a combination of stitches. This style of binding allows the book to lie flat for easy use. The spine has also been swelled to allow plenty of room to paste in pictures of completed projects and yarn ball bands. This journal also has an elastic strap on the back cover that keeps the journal closed while in your bag, or can be used as a bookmark as well.
The reference section includes common knitting and crochet abbreviations, yarn standards (including wraps per inch for spinners and weavers), standard measurements for sweaters and socks, yardage estimates for sweaters, hats, scarves, socks and more. There is also a page for noting your needle and hook inventory and one for pattern book inventory as well.
