Bloody Clue Journal
This funky 9 X 9 inch hand bound journal is made from reclaimed 1960's Clue gameboard parts. Can you name who did it, where they did it and with what? The "blood" is a touch more red and slightly shiny in comparison to the surrounding bits in real life.
Another card and more blood adorns the back cover of this fun journal. Both covers have been sealed with acrylic medium as well as several coats of a UV-resistant varnish in a matte finish.
The 96 pages of Oyster Canson MiTienes paper is nestled into concertina folds which expand the spine before binding allowing the easy addition of tip-ins, collage and ephemera to the pages without stressing the binding too much. This concertina spacer and the end papers are made from handmade paste paper. The stitching used for this journal is not only quite decorative, but is a very long lasting and elaborate set of stitches requiring 6 individual strands of thread and ten needles to complete. The inner pages measure approximate 8.5 X 8.5 inches. This Journal Has Been Sold |
