A Little of This, A Little of That
Okay, so I’m not great at coming up with post subjects, LOL!
- I have roughly 12-18 more rows to do before I get to start the toe on Spearfish sock #1! Wheee! And, Hebrew Hammer last night was sooo funny, though you do have to be in the mood for over the top farsical humor.
- Go visit Abby and help her choose the colors for her Market Squares Bag and be entered in a contest to boot!
- Snow, what would be your recommendation on a lace/shawl pattern book to get if you could only get one? Oh, and I can get Meg Swanson’s A Gathering of Lace from the library. I know you do a lot of lace work and I am enjoying it the little bit of it I have done so far and want to explore it further.
- I’m totally drooling over White Lies Designs, but I only wish she gave yardage requirements so you didn’t have to wait for the pattern to show up before choosing yarn!
- I scored some great green yarn off of Ebay yesterday - 1720 yds for less than $40, baby! That’s enough to make a sweater for me!
- Have a Great Weekend!

I too love the White Lies Designs — so flattering!

Speaking of lace…did you make it to Indigo Thread this weekend? Galena (www.skaska.com) was there with lots of lace weight
goodies. Laura is her dyer and her yarns are beautiful. She also had some great designs. I’ll bring the one I picked up tonight.

Oooh, now there’s a tough question. I’d probably have to go with Heirloom Knitting from Sharon Miller. If you order it directly from her website, she sends you a signed copy. She’s definitelyl the reigning Queen of Shetland lace.
