A Houseplant Nursery!

Last Thursday our houseplant count went from two to nine when Drew brought home seven new plants that he had rooted from cuttings at work. We potted them last Thursday evening before the Script Frenzy kick-off party. We’ve since added another three plants from a gal in my water aerobics class so we now have an even dozen!

I have to say it feels great to have so many green things in the house again. I just hope I do better this time around! Have a great weekend!

1. New Houseplants, 2. More Philodendron, 3. Wet Spider Plant, 4. Philodendron, 5. Water Drops on Philodendron, 6. Tangle of Philodendrons, 7. Philodendron Leaf, 8. Drops on a Spinder Plant, 9. Varigated Philodendron

I have at least one house plant in every room (more or less) and I really enjoy the green.

Philodendrons and spider plants are usually fairly forgiving… I water mine every couple of months whether they need it or not, and they’ve been going strong for years. :-)

My poor african violets will suffer I fear whilst I am away. Hmm, what do to with them….
I may well be able to come to Estes with you next weekend! Assuming the visas arrive, we should be there Friday night. EEEK!

Cool! I don’t have enough room to have plants inside the house so I’m usually jonesing for a garden fix by the time April rolls around ;o)
