Crazy Week!

Filed under: Spinning, Follow the Flock — Kristi at 9:00 am on Wednesday, June 7, 2006

Phew! It’s only Wednesday and this week has been busy beyond belief! I was home for only about two hours yesterday and the rest was running all over town to various appointments.

Summer Spinning Challenge ButtonBut, before yesterday’s craziness I did go ahead and get a summer spinning challenge site set up. If you said you were game on the Spectrum Sunday post I put you on the list of participants. If you’ve thought otherwise since then, just let me know. Others wishing to join, just send an e-mail to fiberfool at gmail dot com with Summer Spinning in the subject line and I’ll get you added as soon as I can. I’ll start sending out invites to join the blog as an author late this week.

I’m planning an official start date of the summer soltice later this month and running it until the fall equinox. Sign ups will close June 15th and I would like all goals set by June 20th. I’ve posted some hints on setting goals that you may or may not find helpful over on the Spinning Challenge site.

Love the button. So long as it doesn’t mean I’ve got to do my summer spinning with a spindle. ;-)

Very cool. I have a couple more ideas for online resources to add to the Summer Spinning page…

And in the world of books…there are tons more. In fact Paula Simmons’ Spinning for Softness and Speed is back in print.

Awesome. I can’t wait. I do need group accountability and this will be perfect.
