Nourishing Knits is Complete!

Filed under: Knitting, Knitting Patterns — Kristi at 12:07 pm on Thursday, December 8, 2011

It has been a very long process, but the final volume of Nourishing Knits: 24 Projects to Gift and Entertain went live yesterday afternoon! Every pattern is in it’s proper place, loosely categorized by project type - small accessories, socks, garments, and neckwear. There is a clickable Table of Contents as well as clickable visual indexes of both patterns and recipes. There is even a bookmarks panel for even more navigational options!

This installment added the last three patterns and recipes, bringing the total to 12 patterns and 12 recipes!

Ginger, a quick last-minute knit that can be whipped out in a weekend, knit in Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Bulky.

Hits the Spot, a fingering weight fitted pullover for kids featuring bullseye elbow patches that will make kids of all ages flip. This one is knit in Dream in Color’s Smooshy.

Ganache, a large 1 skein shawl knit in The Woolen Rabbit’s Kashmir Sock yarn. The open lace patterns allow you get maximum coverage per gram of yarn, making it great for those extra special skeins.

I’ll be sharing more about these patterns and their accompanying recipes soon.

As stated from the start, the price will be going up now that all the patterns and recipes are in place. But, given the holiday season, I won’t be raising the price until Monday, December 12th at 2pm MST (4pm EST). At that time the price will go up to $20.

$20 $16 (until 12/12/11, 2pm MST)

There will be a blog book tour coming up. If you are interested in taking part, please e-mail aberka(AT)designedlykristi(DOT)com.

I’m also having a bit of a contest over on Facebook. When I reach 150 “Likes” I’ll give away a copy of Nourishing Knits to one random follower. I’ll do the same for each additional 50 “Likes.” So to increase your chances of winning, be sure to spread the word and get others to like Designedly, Kristi as well!

For those wishing for just one or two of the patterns rather than the entire book, I am adding a few a day. Currently you can purchase the Masala slippers, Cornucopia cowl and Bordeaux short scarf/pidge individually. Individual patterns are patterns only and do not include the recipe.

Hooray, and congrats! I’m smitten with Ganache — what a lovely, open pattern. Plus I’ve been curious about that yarn for a very long time.

[…] I am honored to be a stop on the Nourishing Knits blog book tour! I purchased this serialized ebook almost as soon as I heard about it — I love the idea and knew the patterns would be awesome. […]
