Spearfish Socks

This feminine sock with delicate lace detailing was inspired by the textures and colors of the landscape surrounding Spearfish, South Dakota in the Black Hills. The undulating lace cuff represents the rocky tops of the many waterfalls in the area, while the small lace panels that extend down each side of the leg and continue in a halved format along the instep symbolizes the falling water.

These socks feature a slip stitch heel flap with gusset and a wedge toe construction. But, you may substitute your favorite heel and toe with relative ease. Unlike many sock patterns, this one includes three adult sizes from small to large.

At the end of the pattern you will also find recommendations to aid in converting this pattern for custom fit knee socks. As an added bonus, also included is a nifty, full-color sock wrapper to package the socks for gift giving that may be customized after printing. It features a photo of one of the waterfalls that inspired the design!
