Queen of Diamonds, is a fun feminine pattern perfect for knitters who love a variety of knitting techniques. It features cables, lace, and traveling stitches and is topped off with a decorative picot edge.

While originally published and featured on the cover of the Spring 2007 Spin-Off, no spinning is required. The downloadable version includes three sizes from 7.5-9.5 inch circumferences and brand new charts free of errata!

  • Skill Level: Advanced Intermediate
  • Sizes: 3 sizes for 7.5, 8.5, and 9.5 inch ankle circumferences
  • Yarn Requirements: 325-375 yds of 2-ply hand spun yarn at 18 WPI, 5 TPI, 1800 ypp

This pattern is recommended for intermediate knitters who have prior experience knitting socks. You should know how to knit in the round, purl, ssk, k2tog, sl 1, cable, yo, and pick up stitches. The pattern is written for knitting on 2 circular needles, but could be adjusted to either the Magic Loop technique or DPNs for those already familiar with those techniques.
