Stocking Yarn!

Softwist wool and rayon blend yarn for my Christmas stocking.
Berroco Softwist in 9442 (plum) and 9445 (green)

I went to Loveland today and visited Woolen Treasures to see about yarn for my stocking. I had thought about an olive green and cream, but then this yarn just jumped off the shelves at me and there wasn’t a cream. Plus, I’m just in love with this color scheme anyway. So what if it is a slightly non-traditional stocking!

The loveliness of this yarn just doesn’t come through in the photographs and the color isn’t quite right either. But this is going to make a very luxurious looking stocking I think!

I can’t wait to get started! But, I must finish my mom’s hat and her other convertible mitten first! I must, I must, I must!

Oh, and check out my LJ for a virtual Holiday Home tour
