Eye Candy Friday - The Snowy Edition!

Filed under: Follow the Flock, Photography, Eye Candy Friday — Kristi at 4:07 am on Friday, October 20, 2006

We had our first snow of the year on Tuesday, and suprisingly it stuck. It mostly melted away on Wednesday, but I managed to capture a few images before it all disappeared. We haven’t had an accumulating snowfall this early in the season for several years. It was a nice change, even if it meant it made us lazy and we decided to watch the city council meeting on cable rather than go out in the snow to attend it in person…

It’s so lovely. The nice thing about the first snow is that everything on the ground is still pristine. After the snow, it looks kind of yucky. Again, beautiful shots. Thanks Kristi.

Snow and leaves-it always looks so dramatic!

I really love these pictures, especially the big one of the snow on the orange/yellow leaf.

We haven’t had that much… yet. But I did have to brush some off my car this morning.
