How Things Grow!

Filed under: Knitting, Socks, Knitting Patterns, In the Dirt — Kristi at 10:52 am on Thursday, June 5, 2008

One of the mints on the front patio that we transplanted on April 6th (first photo). The same plant (I swear) on June 3rd.

Robins in that nest I showed a while back. The first is from May 27th and the second form June 3rd. They barely all fit in the nest anymore!

Sootie's Sock In Progress
The socks nearly flew off the needles. Especially considering that I took a few days off between sock 1 and sock 2. The first photo was what I shared on May 27th. It was sock 1. They were completed yesterday. These shots are with flash (due to rain, yea!) and are pre-blocking. I’ll share more details when the pattern is ready for release. I’m shooting for sometime next week.

It’s amazing how quickly baby birds go from scary prehistoric monsters to actual birds.
