I’m really going full steam ahead on the second Opal sock. Perhaps it is because I have not picked up other projects to work on. That is the only thing on needles right now. It is probably also because I’ve done more KIP. I’m carrying it in my purse once again. I knit at a local bar, The Crown Pub last Tuesday night and had a man come up to me and ask me about the project and said he oftens knits there. I thought that was totally cool! Especially since there is often a second group of knitters at Mugs on Monday nights (a later start time and we can’t figure out thier schedule as at times it seems weekly, but then it doesn’t) and they can’t walk past us fast enough and no matter our smiles and saying hi they will not strike up a conversation. Seems kind of odd for knitters if you ask me. I also knit on the sock at a friend’s house warming party on Friday night. So, I’m only a few rows from starting the heel flap! Whee!!! And, I only started it on Tuesday! I think the first sock took me more than two months, LOL! Of course if I keep bragging about how fast this second one is going it too will take 2 months, LOL!
Anyone want to test drive my citrus hat pattern so I can put it up on the site here? Please?
