Lemon Toddler Hat
Bernat Cottontots (Yellow), Sugar and Cream Green and Brown
Needles Sz 7 and Sz 2

I finished the Lemon hat I designed! It was a hit at knitting tea today! I’m so glad I went too because it was the lovely Lindy’s birthday last Saturday so we went to lunch at The Olive Garden to celebrate and that is always fun.

I also finished my first of the Opal Socks…
First Opal Sock
This is my first sock in actual sock weight yarn and first projec to use Sz 1 needles! I used to think sock knitters were crazy but now that I am one of them… Well, I guess we’re still crazy, LOL!

In the next day or so I plan to convert my chicken scratchings to a pattern for that lemon. It’s 18 inch circumfrence and you need to know how to SSK, SSP, K2TOG and P2TOG but I’m looking for a couple volunteers to try out the pattern and look for any mistakes… I’d like to see if completed in a month or so if possible. Feel free to use any other yarn and make it green for a lime or orange for an orange if you like. Let me know if you’re interested on trying it out. And, pass along the link to the post to anyone else whom you think might like to give it a try.
