Scarf Madness

1 Ball Trendsetter Dune
7 yds Hannah Silk
Long overdue, here is the completed pic of the Trendsetter Dune scarf I made. I completed the ribbon weaving back at the end of September, but never got a picture taken. So, here I am with my new Halloween hair (I was a perky goth for Halloween and the wig was not as pictured so I opted to color it).
Everyone seems to be voting for me to keep it black - the Stitch-n-Bitch gang as well as the Tuesday Morning Knitting Tea women. It’s kind of funny. I didn’t expect people to think I should keep it black, LOL!

Detail of the silk ribbon woven through the scarf and the silk ribbon fringe.
Then, as I mentioned last week, I finished the multi-directional scarf…

Here I am modeling it in the stereotypical “knitting pattern” pose of looking pensive and downward (DH pointed that out a while back). I have just enough left over to make fringe, but I haven’t decided if I wish to do that or not. I did decide this is not masculine enough to give to my FIL. The Knitting Tea women yesterday said I should keep it. Normally I wouldn’t wear anything quite that red next to my face, but I’m thinking it does actually look pretty good. It also looks pretty nice with my camel pea coat, so I may just keep it.
Emma didn’t want to be left out of the picture taking fun this morning, so here she is modeling the multi-directional scarf…

I’ll be back, hopefully each day the rest of this week with pics of stash expansions from the past couple of weeks, plus patterns I’m contemplating and progress on my dad’s socks.
