Pant! Pant! Grrrr!

1/7/2005

Emma the guest blogger today...

Sorry, I didn’t really mean to growl. My tail is still wagging. I’m just not too excited about strangers visiting. But I really am friendly as long as you don’t actually look at me. I’ll even let you pet me if you don’t look at me!

Anyway, mom is now officially sick today. She was grumbling something under her breath about the timing of work stress, womanly troubles and getting sick. I don’t get it. But it means she’s bugging me all day by staying in the bedroom where I usually hide out until dad gets home.

But, for all of you knitters out there with puppies, I wanted to make a suggestion to you…

Buy These! Buy These! Buy These!

I’m a big peanut butter and cheese junkie. By mom tells me the cheese is likely what makes me lick my paws incessantly so she brought me home new treats with no milk, wheat or corn in them. One of the types is vegetarian and even though dad is vegetarian I’m not so excited about those. Though since I’m a stomach with legs I eat them.

However, the Kookies, yum! Those are amazing! They are lamb, rice and blueberry. They don’t even have garlic in them (and I also love garlic flavors), but I LOVE them! And, mom says they are quite afforable and a great product to buy because a portion of their cost goes to the Susan G. Komen Foundation to help support breast cancer research. I don’t know what that is, but if mom says it’s a good thing, it must be. And, I say they are delicious! Mom said they are kind of big biscuits for 30-lb me (though I don’t think so), but they break really easy so she gives me about 1/3 of one when she gives me a treat. If you haven’t seen them at your local pet food store (mom got this bag at Petco), click on the picture above to go to the manufacturer’s site and find a store near you.

Hopefully mom will be back next week, because I’d like my hideout back…
