The Library Is My Friend
I’m tired and I hurt and feel a bit unloved lately. My current knitting projects on the needles are just not doing it for me. I’m lusting after all these gorgeous colorwork mittens and gloves everyone is knitting right now. I’ve always been a big mitten person and can still drive my manual car while wearing them without any trouble. The only trouble I do have occassionally is running the radio, but as long as I have a CD in I can still work the volume knob!
So, I stopped off at the library and checked out Folk Mittens. I haven’t started anything yet. I’m not sure I have stash yarn in the proper composition and weight at this point, but I’ll look and drool and perhaps will treat myself to a wool purchase after voice lessons this afternoon…

Well, I’m pretty sure you aren’t unloved. As for the rest, I think you probably have enough of various hand spuns to make some lovely mittens… ;)

Yarn shopping? Where? Without me? What is this world coming to?
