Woot!
I’m writing this post using our own home wireless network! I only pulled out my hair most of the day (including a total of 4 trips to downtown today - not all computer related but…). We have had a dear friend from New Mexico in town since Sunday and tonight was his last night so there was much sharing of music going on here and I fell asleep somewhere around midnight, we actually went to bed a bit after 1am, I laid in bed wanting to cry and couldn’t keep my brain from thinking about how worthless a lap top that needs to be plugged into a wall and a network connection is (nevermind that the first 1.5 years I had the lap top the wireless didn’t work). So, I got up and figured if I was going to cry I might as well do in the basement where I’m not waking up DH.
I decided to give it one last try before wiping the computer clean and starting over again. I uninstalled the driver and the network monitoring software and reinstalled them and it worked. So, I’m fully functional. I just need to transfer my rebuilt Sage feeds from the desktop machine to the laptop and I’ll be pretty much good to go once again.
Well, I do have some fonts I’ll need to relocate (and some I’ll need to identify) but mostly I’m back in the game once again. I promise a real knitting post on Friday for sure, perhaps later today, but it’ll be late in the day seeing as it is about 3am now and I’ve only had an hour nap so far…
